IUI Completed
I ordered my HCG and Kevin gave me the shot on Sunday morning. I wasn't the best patient and it took a couple minutes for me to let him do it. Good to know that Kevin is really good at giving injections. We went in on Monday morning and it took a couple hours, but they were able to successful do the IUI. IT didn't really hurt, just a little uncomfortable. We were supposed to have 2 IUIs done on back to back days, however when they did the ultrasound, they found I had already ovulated, so it would have been pointless to go back on Tuesday. So now we are in the middle of a big waiting game. hopefully those little swimmers found the egg and in about another week we get two lines on the pee stick!

Day 13
So I made it through the Clomid, or so I thought. I had no idea that the symptoms would not show up until after I took my last dosage. I have had a couple of hot flashes, mostly at night. But this week, I definitely felt that my emotions were not my own. Hopefully I have that under control. I did go to the doctor today and it looks like we are ready for our first IUI on Monday! I do have to take a shot of HCG on Sunday morning so I'm not looking forward to that. Anyone who knows me knows that I do not do well with needles. Thank God Kevin is great with this sort of thing!

Nothing In Particular
So Kevin has been home from the hospital for a couple weeks now. Everything is going great with his recovery. Hopefully he will be able to return to work in another week or so.
We just finished our first class at University of La Verne. It was a good class with a great instructor. It feels good to have one more class down and out of the way. Hopefully I can still be on track to graduate next spring.
On other news it looks like we will be beginning our first round of advanced fertility treatments in the next month. After over a year of trying to conceive, we have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We have gone through all the testing and everything looks fine. We went to our first appt with the fertility clinic just over a week ago and the Dr said that he tinks he will be able to get us pregnant. So hopefully in about a week we will begin taking Clomid and then trying IUI shortly there after.
